Lewis Athanas is the original inventor of the technology. After many hours of tinkering in his garage proved that he was really onto something new and revolutionary, Lewis left his job as a designer of more traditional high-performance speaker systems to focus full-time on what would become Emo Labs and Edge Motion™ audio technology. Is Edge Motion™ speaker technology covered by patents?

Yes.  Emo Labs has a variety of international patents, issued or pending, relating to Edge Motion™ audio transducers and systems.

If the speakers are invisible, how will I know that a product uses Edge Motion™ audio technology?

Since Emo Labs is the only company that can manufactures speakers and speaker assemblies that use our patented audio technology, all you need to do is look for the EMO™ brand logo to know that the product includes a genuine Edge Motion™ speaker system.

What other applications can Edge Motion™ technology be used for?

The range of applications is practically endless. The advent of flat panel displays has resulted in a wide range of new products, most of which incorporate sound.  In addition to monitors, TVs and notebook computers, future applications could include:  palmtop PCs, mobile phones, game machines, Portable DVD players, PDAs, GPS units, picture frame speakers, and a wide variety of other consumer, automotive and industrial applications.
