Jason L. Carlson,
Chief Executive Officer

Jason Carlson joined Emo Labs as CEO in February 2006. Prior to joining Emo, he held the position of CEO at Semtech Corporation. Previously, Jason was Vice President and General Manager of the Crystal products division at Cirrus Logic; he joined Crystal when Cirrus acquired AudioLogic where he had been CEO. Earlier in his career, Jason was one of the founding team members of ReSound Corporation, and held various positions with Telex Communications and HEI.

Lewis S. Athanas
CTO and Founder

Lewis Athanas has been designing audio products, particularly loudspeakers, for over twenty years. He has thirty-six commercialized products to his credit and holds four patents in transducer technologies. Prior to inventing the technology behind Edge Motion™ speakers, Lewis was a Senior Engineer and Product Manager at Boston Acoustics. Previously, he designed products for high-end audio manufacturers NEAR and Genesis, and also has extensive experience in broadcasting, recording and audio retailing.

Allan J. Evelyn
Vice President, Business Development

Before joining Emo Labs, Allan was President of Boston Acoustics, a leading audio and electronics company, and a major OEM supplier to the personal computer and automobile industry. Allan also spent 16 years in senior management roles at Bose Corporation, most recently as General Manager, Americas. Previously, he also held executive positions with JBL (Harman International), dbx, inc., and Carillon Technologies.

Jonathan C. Mixter
Vice President, Marketing & Strategy

Prior to becoming a full-time employee, Jay consulted to Emo Labs while heading up Astrolabe Partners, a consultancy specializing in commercialization of new products and emerging technologies. He previously held senior management positions at Iconomy, Spinnaker Software, InfoPlus and Pacific Bell. Earlier in his career, Jay worked in marketing at Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo, and also spent seven years in audio and electronics retailing.

Stefan Bokamper –
Vice President, Operations & Product Management

Before he joined Emo Labs, Stefan led the Product Management function at SMaL Camera Technologies where he managed the growth of the digital camera business. Previously, he held senior management positions at Siemens Mobile Phones and Philips Consumer Electronics. At Siemens, Stefan had P/L responsibility for mobile phone products from concept through market launch and lifecycle management.
